The results of the survey show that the majority of respondents, (78.69%) have been had impacted or know someone that has been impacted by male suicide, showing that suicide is an issue of public importance. Additionally, the statistics show that many of the respondents, with an average age of 18-29, are unaware of key facts and figures relating to the subject of suicide, suggesting that more awareness is needed.
