Its been a busy week so far, I have conducted all my interviews now and am working towards starting to create my radio documentary.

Prior to the production process, I did have some concerns about the how I would manage to layout my documentary due to the large quantity of interviewee’s who took part in my project.

 

So, in order to make it clearer and easier for myself I decided to try and draw out my documentary and work out who and what would go where.

I broke up my documentary into four/five sections (two of the sections, I feel are very similar so I predict that at a later stage I will merge these into one):

• Introduction – Introduce my interviewee’s

• Why its a growing problem – i.e statistics, data, case studies in brief

• Factors in why its such a problem – i.e methods used, gender differences

• Support and Prevention that already exists – Recent research by charities, current charities and their work

• Any new methods or anything that can change to improve prevention – technology, NHS five year forward plan
